National Title for Third Class

Huge congratulations to Ms Doyle’s Third Class who won first place in ‘A Decade of Centenaries’- an All Ireland competition sponsored by the Department of Education and Skills, Mercier Press and University College Cork School of History. As part of the ‘Decade of Centenaries’ commemorations schools and students at all levels of primary and post-primary schools across the island of Ireland were invited to enter the all-island schools’ history competition. Ms Doyle’s class have worked extremely hard for the past few months, researching how World War One affected Dundalk and its inhabitants, and this diligence has been duly rewarded. Well done Ms Doyle’s Class on a remarkable achievement- the first national title for our school.Check out the links below to find out more!
