CBS into the final!

Game 1- CBS Dundalk beat St Oliver’s Drogheda

Our first game of the season was in Drogheda against St. Oliver’s. It wasn’t a long journey, there was no silence on the bus. It wasn’t long until we saw the pitch in the distance. We were full of confidence and in the end that proved to be the difference between the sides.

Game 2- CBS Dundalk beat De La Salle

We played this game at the O’Mahony’s pitch. We were full of confidence once more and the potency of our forwards did the damage as we saw off their challenge

Game 3- CBS Dundalk beat Scoil Eoin Baiste

Again this game was played at the O’Mahony’s pitch and we had the chance to win all three games. In this game our defence was superb and the consistency of our forwards saw us pick up the win

Game 4- CBS Dundalk beat St Joseph’s

This game took place at the Gaels field. Both teams had shown great consistency in the league before this game and there was an expectancy that it would be a classic. It was a great game and the CBS defence held firm to help their team to victory.

The CBS are now through to the final which will be played on October 26 in Darver. Throw in is at 6.15pm

Science Week (13th-20th November)

As usual, the school was a hub of excitement for National Science Week with many classes taking part in a multitude of experiments. Below is a selection of Rang A Cúig’s graphs which shows a record of their heartbeat throughout the week. We measured a different times throughout the week, before and after swimming and also when we were at rest. We really enjoyed our real life experiment!IMAG0549
